基本信息

医学博士，教授，博士生导师，北京协和医学院长聘教授，实验病理学家。现为中国医学科学院医学实验动物研究所所长，北京协和医学院比较医学中心主任，国家人类疾病动物模型资源库主任，兼任中国实验动物学会理事长，国际比较医学学会主席，《中国比较医学杂志》、《中国实验动物学报》、《Animal Models and Experimental Medicine》杂志主编。长期从事实验病理学研究，致力于人类疾病动物模型研制和应用，基于比较医学创新指导动物模型的创建，并从比较医学的角度开展神经系统疾病和传染病的致病机理研究。研制了阿茨海默症、帕金森氏病、艾滋病、SARS-CoV、流感、结核、手足口病、MES-COV等一系列动物模型，建立了重大和突发传染病动物模型的技术体系和资源库。在新冠肺炎方面，率先建立了ACE2人源化的转基因小鼠模型和恒河猴模型，基于科赫法则证实了SARS-CoV-2是COVID-19的致病病原体，体内证实了人ACE2是SARS-CoV-2的入侵受体。基于动物模型，研究了SARS-CoV-2通过呼吸道飞沫、直接接触、气溶胶、粪口、结膜等途径传播的能力，评价了一系列的化药、中药和抗体的预防和治疗效果，并完成了病毒载体疫苗、灭活疫苗、mRNA疫苗、DNA疫苗、减毒病毒载体疫苗、重组蛋白疫苗等不同类型新冠病毒疫苗的药效学研究。以第一作者或通讯作者在Nature, Science, Cell, Nature Medicine, Nature Microbiology, Nature Communication等杂志发表了系列研究论文。
