基本信息

水利水电、土木工程专家。1943年2月生于重庆。中国水利水电科学研究院教授级高工。生于重庆。1966年毕业于清华大学，1991年在清华大学获博士学位。兼任中国土木工程学会土力学及岩土工程分会副理事长。2005年当选为中国科学院院士。长期从事边坡稳定理论和数值分析的研究工作。发展完善了以极限平衡为基础的边坡稳定分析理论得出了边坡稳定分析上限解的微分方程以及相应的解析解将有关理论和方法推广到三维问题的求解，使边坡三维稳定分析成为现实可行先后提出并解决了小湾、天生桥、漫湾、二滩、天荒坪等大型工程滑坡险情的工程措施并成功实施编制的边坡稳定分析软件STAB已形成一个具有141个应用单位的用户网。
