宁夏大学食品与葡萄酒学院院长，2018－2020教育部高等学校教学指导委员会委员。主持完成国家自然科学基金、国家科技支撑课题、自治区重大专项等课题12项，发表论文90余篇，其中EI收录11篇，SCI收录2篇，授权专利13项，主编专著1部、教材1部，获得自治区科学技术进步二等奖2项；主持完成国家、自治区级教学改革项目5项，获得国家教学成果二等奖1项，自治区教学成果特等奖1项和一等奖1项；指导学生获得国家及自治区级以上各类竞赛16项，获得区级以上“优秀指导教师”10余次；获得自治区“塞上名师”“三八红旗手”“宝钢教育优秀教师奖”“宁夏大学师德标兵”等称号，自治区政府特殊津贴获得者
