苗世洪，博士，教授，博士生导师，湖北省电机工程学会理事、自动化与计算机应用专业委员会主任委员，中国能源研究会储能标准化技术委员会压缩空气储能分委会委员，《IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery》、《IET Generation， Transformation & Distribution》、《中国电机工程学报》、《电工技术学报》、《电力系统自动化》等杂志审稿专家，长期从事电力系统继电保护及自动化、配电网与微网新技术、压缩空气储能建模及应用，电力系统智能调度与自动化等方面的教学、研究与装备研发工作，已发表学术论文130余篇(其中EI论文84篇，SCI论文23篇)。近年来主持国家重点研发计划课题1项，主持国家自然科学研究基金3项，还主持或参与了多项国家973计划项目、863计划项目和国家电网公司总部科技项目等。
