赵昌平，北京市农林科学院北京杂交小麦工程技术研究中心，研究员。赵昌平同志1986年于北京市农林科学院工作，现任北京杂交小麦工程技术研究中心主任，党支部副书记，杂交小麦分子遗传北京市重点实验室主任，北京小麦种子检测中心主任。享受国务院政府特殊津贴，国家“千百万人才工程”第一、二层次首批人选。先后获得“全国农业科研杰出人才”、“全国优秀科技工作者”、“科技北京百名领军人才”、“北京市先进工作者”，“北京市突贡专家”和“北京学者”等荣誉称号。现主要从事二系杂交小麦杂种优势利用技术研究，小麦光温敏雄性不育系的选育，杂交小麦品种（组合）的选育，二系杂交小麦高产高效制种技术及高产栽培技术研究，小麦DNA指纹图谱库的建立等，以及小麦种质创新与新品种选育，具体包括小麦分子遗传，品质改良和遗传生理等研究工作。赵昌平同志作为我国小麦杂种优势利用研究与应用领域首席科学家，发现了光敏型小麦雄性不育种质，揭示了小麦光温敏不育遗传与光温反应的多样性特征及分子机制，为二系杂交小麦体系提供材料基础；揭示了小麦雄性育性相对性原理，创立了光温敏不育系选育的四条途径，为二系杂交小麦技术体系奠定了理论基础；揭示了小麦光温敏不育的恢复性规律和异交生物学规律，提出了强优势杂交种创制理论与方法，为攻克小麦杂种优势利用三大技术瓶颈提供了科学依据；依据核心模块的系统创新，首创了中国二系杂交小麦技术体系，被公认为很好地解决了国际杂交小麦的科学难点和技术瓶颈。发表论文117篇（SCI论文31篇），授权专利25项、新品种保护权7项，制定标准2项，育成小麦新品种 18个（杂交小麦品种9个），获国家和北京市科学技术奖等6项。
