"国务院和江西省政府特殊津贴专家，国家百千万人才人选、国家有突出贡献的中青年专家、全国优秀教师、全国优秀科技工作者，宝钢优秀教师等荣誉称号。江西省“赣鄱555”领军人才、江西省百千万人才，江西省优秀研究生指导教师，江西省高等学校教学名师奖。江西省高水平学科（冶金工程）带头人，为国家特色专业、江西省高水平学科冶金工程专业的学科带头人和负责人。兼任中国稀土学会理事，中国有色金属学会特种冶金委员会主任委员、冶金反应工程专业委员会副主任委员、稀有金属冶金学术委员会委员、全国稀土化学和湿法冶金专业委员会，教育部材料专业教学指导委员会委员。担任《Chinese Journal of Rare Earth》、《中国稀土学报》等7部期刊编委。长期从事稀土、钨等稀有金属高效分离及高值化利用、冶金二次资源的绿色高效利用等研究。先后主持国家级科研项目8项，其中国家自然科学基金5项，1项为重点项目，863、973项目子项2项，主持江西省自然科学基金及各类横向项目30余项；多项成果被转让，获得各类科技奖奖项6项，其中获江西省科技成果一等奖2项，有色金属工业协会一等奖1项，江西省教学成果二等奖1项；授权国家发明专利20余项，在国内外学术刊物发表学术论文100余篇，其中被SCI、EI检索30余篇，主编《稀土冶金学》1部。 "
