目前已在国际权威性学术期刊上发表SCI论文一百余篇，获得国家授权专利15项。近年来主持国家、省部级以及合作单位科研项目十多项。是国际期刊 Journal of Electroceramics 编委，被伯明翰大学冶金与材料学院聘为“荣誉教授”。入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才”、湖南省自然科学杰出青年基金、中南大学“升华学者”特聘教授等人才计划。
