会议简介：

由科技部高端外国专家引进计划（G20200001061、G2021102006）等项目资助，清华大学于2020年开始举办“清华大学岩石力学系列讲座”，每年邀请数位国际知名学者围绕岩石力学前沿问题开展专题讲座。2022年，该讲座由清华大学与中国岩石力学与工程学会联合举办，旨在进一步加强国内外学者的学术交流，培养具有国际视野的青年人才，提升我国岩石力学与工程学科的国际影响力。

演讲嘉宾：Jonny Rutqvist

演讲嘉宾职务/职称：教授，美国劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室能源地球科学水文地质部主任
演讲嘉宾简介：Dr. Jonny Rutqvist is a Senior Scientist and Head of Hydrogeology Department, Energy Geosciences Division, at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). He holds a PhD degree in Engineering Geology from the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. For over 30 years, Dr. Rutqvist’s research has been focused on geomechanics and modeling of coupled thermal, hydraulic, mechanical, and chemical (THMC) processes in geological media for a wide range of geoscientific and geoengineering applications, including geologic carbon sequestration, nuclear waste disposal, geothermal energy extraction, unconventional oil and gas, and underground energy storage. Dr. Rutqvist has authored over 200 peer-reviewed journal papers, and is a four-time recipient of the American Rock Mechanics Association (ARMA) Awards.
